Amber earned a B.S. at the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana, making the Dean’s List. She continued her education at Governors State University, graduating with honors and an M.A. in Psychology, specializing in School Psychology. As a state-certified School Psychologist, she later obtained a second M.S. with honors from Grand Canyon University, focusing on Industrial and Organizational Psychology. 

With over two decades in education, Amber worked in diverse settings, championing equitable services for students with special needs. She is well-versed in educational law assessment, Response to Intervention (RTI), special education eligibility, Individual Educational Plans (IEP), and 504 planning. 

Amber specializes in conducting individualized psychoeducational evaluations of children, adolescents, and adults with neurodevelopmental challenges including: learning disabilities, intellectual disability, developmental delays, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, and social/emotional difficulties. 

Amber is a dedicated advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion, supporting neurodivergent individuals, the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals of all identities.
